DENVER - A well known veterinary hospital is trying to reassure pet owners that a drug mix up was an isolated incident.
At least 30 dogs got sick at the Alameda East Veterinary Hospital near Havana and Alameda on Monday.

The office says the wrong medication was given to the dogs. It is not lethal, but all affected owners have been notified.

The vets say they have instituted a policy of double checking in their pharmacy so this does not happen again.
